The most important towns are: the headquarter of the municipality Magugnano, Sommavilla, Porto, Castello, Marniga, Assenza and Castelletto. Further villages are scattered on the slopes of the mountain and are usually composed of few houses. Castelletto, the largest town, has a large, picturesque old town.
